I think the number one reason trust is a major source of pain to people is because it’s given so easily& then gets taken advantage of. How can someone truly appreciate something when it’s given without second thought? People jump into relationships ready to give their heart to people they barely even know. Truth is, that relationship doesnt have a solid basis; it doesn’t have guidelines, experience, or even simple rules. People jump head first into blind situations and expect the most to come out of something they didnt even work for. It’s like this, if your parents buy you a car, your gunna speed& do reckless stuff in it, because you don’t know the true value because it was given to you. But, if you work for something, your gunna cherish it& be extra careful because you know how hard it was to get that. Same with trust, if someone doesnt earn it all they can do it loose it. So instead of spending months getting to know eachother by learning one anothers habits, expectations, and social tendencies, they freely give something that’s too important to loose. Versus, letting them make mistakes, or seeing how they react in situations& giving trust. They wait until the person messes up& takes it away, then its twenty times harder to earn back. Truth is- Everyones doin shit backwards, which is a guaranteed FAIL in their relationship.
